Dharam Karma : वेद वाणी

Sanskrit : रथे तिष्ठन्नयति वाजिनः पुरो यत्रयत्र कामयते सुषारथिः। अभीशूनां महिमानं पनायत मनः पश्चादनु यच्छन्ति रश्मयः॥ ऋग्वेद ६-७५-६॥ Hindi : कुशल सारथी लगाम द्वारा अश्वों को नियंत्रित करके रथ को जहां चाहता है वहां ले जाता है। लगाम की महिमा को हमें समझना चाहिए। शरीर रूपी रथ की इंद्रिया रूपी अश्वों को मन की लगाम से नियंत्रित किया जाता है। इसलिए मन को इतना कुशल बनाओ कि वह इंद्रियों को उचित दिशा में ले जाए। (ऋग्वेद ६-७५-६) English : The skilled charioteer controls the horses by bridle and takes the chariot wherever he wants to. We must understand the glory of the rein. The body is like a chariot, and the horses in the form of Indriyan pull it, Indriyan are controlled by the bridle of the mind. Therefore, make the mind so efficient that it directs the Indriyan in the right direction. (Rig Veda 6-75-6)
