Dharam Karma : वेद वाणी

Sanskrit : स सुक्रतुर्यो वि दुरः पणीनां पुनानो अर्कं पुरुभोजसं नः। होता मन्द्रो विशां दमूनास्तिरस्तमो ददृशे राम्याणाम्॥ ऋग्वेद ७-९-२॥ Hindi: वह महान कार्य करने वाला हो। वह सूर्य के समान हो। वह बंद द्वारों को खोलकर प्रकाश का प्रवेश करा, अंधकार को भगाने वाला हो। वह प्रकृति के उपहारों को सब तक पहुंचाने वाला हो। वह सभी को आनंद प्रदान करने वाला हो। ऐसा शासक होना चाहिए। (ऋग्वेद ७-९-२) English : He should be the doer of noble deeds. He should be like the sun. Likewise, he should be the one who removes the darkness by opening the closed doors and allowing the light to enter. Not only that, but he should be the one to bring the bounties of nature to all. Furthermore, he should bring joy to all. A ruler should have all these qualities. (Rig Veda 7-9-2)
