Dharam Karma : वेद वाणी

Sanskrit: एवा पाहि प्रत्नथा मन्दतु त्वा श्रुधि ब्रह्म वावृधस्वोत गीर्भिः। आविः सूर्यं कृणुहि पीपिहीषो जहि शत्रूँरभि गा इन्द्र तृन्धि॥ ऋग्वेद ६-१७-३॥

Hindi: हे मनुष्य! वैदिक ज्ञान की रक्षा कर और इसका प्रसार कर। जिस प्रकार सूर्य के प्रकाश से अंधकार भागता है उसी प्रकार तुम्हारी अज्ञानता का अंधकार ज्ञान के प्रकाश से भागेगा। अपना उत्तम पोषण कर। द्वेष को समाप्त कर। अपनी इंद्रियों को विलासिता की बेड़ियों से मुक्त कर। (ऋग्वेद ६-१७-३)

English : O man!  Protect and promote the Vedic knowledge. Just as darkness runs away from the light of the sun, similarly, the darkness of your ignorance will run away from the light of knowledge. Take good care of yourself through nourishment. Put an end to the hatred. Free your Indriyan (senses) from the shackles of lust. (Rig Veda 6-17-3)
