Dharam Karma : वेद वाणी

Sanskrit: आ क्षोदो महि वृतं नदीनां परिष्ठितमसृज ऊर्मिमपाम्। तासामनु प्रवत इन्द्र पन्थां प्रार्दयो नीचीरपसः समुद्रम्॥ ऋग्वेद ६-१७-१२॥

Hindi: हे सूर्य के समान राजन! जिस प्रकार सूर्य पर्वतों पर जमी हुई हिम को पिंघला कर नदियों के रास्ते से समुद्र में पहुंचा कर प्रकृति के जल चक्र को सुचारू करता है। उसी प्रकार शासन व्यवस्था में जो बाधाएं हैं उन्हें दूर करके लोक कल्याण के प्रवाह को सुचारू कर सुशासन के चक्र को पूरा करो। (ऋग्वेद ६-१७-१२)

English: O King like the sun! Just as the sun melts the snow, frozen on the mountains, and transports it into the sea through rivers, it regulates the water cycle of nature. Similarly, by removing the obstacles in the governance system, smooth the flow of public welfare and complete the cycle of good governance. (Rig Veda 6-17-12)
