Dharam Karma : वेद वाणी

Sanskrit : अर्वाग्रथं विश्ववारं त उग्रेन्द्र युक्तासो हरयो वहन्तु। कीरिश्चिद्धि त्वा हवते स्वर्वानृधीमहि सधमादस्ते अद्य॥ ऋग्वेद ६-३७-१॥ Hindi :  हे परमेश्वर! हमारे शरीर रथ में जो इंद्रियांरूपी घोड़े जुड़े हुए हैं वह इसे बाहरी वासनाओं की ओर खींचते हैं। हम आपका आव्हान करते हैं कि हमारा यह रथ बहारी विषयों में ना भटक कर अंतर्मुखी हो जाए और प्रभु की उपासना का आनंद अनुभव करें। (ऋग्वेद ६-३७-१) English : O God! The Indriyan in the form of horses are attached to our body chariot, which draws it towards external luxuries. We invoke you that this chariot of ours should not wander into external subjects, become introverted, and experience the joy of worshipping the Lord. (Rig Veda 6-37-1)
