Sanskrit: आ देवो ददे बुध्न्या वसूनि वैश्वानर उदिता सूर्यस्य। आ समुद्रादवरादा परस्मादाग्निर्ददे दिव आ पृथिव्याः॥ ऋग्वेद ७-६-७॥ Hindi: शासक को प्रजा के अज्ञानता के अंधकार को दूर करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। सब के विकास के लिए अज्ञानता को दूर करना अति आवश्यक है। जिस प्रकार सूर्य सभी लोकों के अंधकार को दूर करता है। उसी प्रकार विद्वानों और शासकों को चाहिए कि वे अज्ञानता के अंधकार को दूर करें। (ऋग्वेद ७-६-७) #vedgsawana English: The ruler should try to dispel the darkness of ignorance of the subjects.
